Dance is taught by experienced instructors that have extensive knowledge on a vast range of dance genres. Students will be introduced to different dance styles and prepare to showcase what they’ve learned.
Drama classes and programs teach students the fundamentals of acting and stagecraft, and participation in a performance and as part of the stage crew is often required. Here are some common concepts taught in drama classes:

The painting & drawing program offers a creative environment that addresses an awareness of traditional conventions in the context of current forms, methods, and issues. We cover a wide array of artistic experiences from landscape painting to abstract painting. Instructors represent a diverse range of approaches and areas of expertise.
Introduction to the sport of Archery taught by an experienced instructor. Students will learn basic techniques that will enhance day to day skills such as:
Developing arm muscles and upper body strength.
Boosting hand-eye coordination skills.
Improving mental strength and concentration.
Honing the flexibility of the hands and fingers.
Freeing the mind from everyday distractions, by focusing it.
Our Lacrosse program will teach players how to work together to learn field strategy and vision. Strategizing is a part of any team sports players find ways to score or play defense. Offensive strategies include never standing still, making sharp quick passes, catching every pass moving towards the ball and always having a man behind the net as back-up. Defensive strategies include forcing the defensive player’s move to be lateral, staying low, keeping eyes on the opponent’s chest instead of his feet and forcing the player to use their weak hand.
We provide an introduction to fencing for students who have never fenced before. This introduction to fencing gives students the basic fundamentals needed to start fencing and develop basic skills. Basic eye, hand, and foot work, basic fencing, basic distance control, safety rules, and fencing etiquette.
Several programs at Elevated Expectations offer academic programming to elementary, middle, and high school students. These academic enrichment programs are offered during the academic year as well as in the summer. The programs vary in length and content, but are mission driven, helping students to become stronger students and prepare for the academic rigors of the following school year and beyond.
